OTTAWA, ONTARIO, JANUARY 1, 2004, MODEL TECHNOLOGIES INC. APPOINTS DR. W. M. JAWORSKI TO ITS ADVISORY BOARD
Ottawa, January 1, 2004 - MODEL Technologies Inc., a context management company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. W.M. Jaworski to the Board of Advisors of the company effective November 27, 2003. Henry Lewkowicz, MODEL's President notes that this appointment recognizes the invaluable contributions Dr. Jaworski has made to MODEL's success over the years. "He has been a most respected mentor and an inspiration to the company's management team", says Mr. Lewkowicz.
Dr. Jaworski is a noted expert in automatic knowledge acquisition, conceptual modeling, systems evolution and knowledge-based technologies. He is the inventor of Joined Maps, a notation and method for formally representing such structures as: complex systems architectures, business processes and reusable templates.
We are honored that Dr. Jaworski has accepted our invitation to join our Board of Advisors and help shape MODEL's vision of developing knowledge discovery technology and solutions. Dr. Jaworski is a strong believer in the importance of building practical solutions. He has guided public and private sector organizations on effective corporate information management with focus on return on investment.
Dr. Jaworski holds Ph.D. in Computer Science, Institute of Mathematics, Polish Academy of Sciences and has published nearly 100 papers in the computer sciences. He has been a regular participant in national and international conferences and professional activities and often serves as organizer, session chair, panelist, invited lecturer, and moderator.
